Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Last Updated: April 3, 2026

The California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") gives California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. This page explains those rights and how to exercise them. Thizo does not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

1. Does Thizo Sell Personal Data?

No. Thizo does not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Your project files, account information, and usage data are used solely to provide and improve our services. For a full explanation of what we collect and how we use it, see our Privacy Notice.

2. Your Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose the personal data we have collected, used, disclosed, or shared about you over the past 12 months. This includes the categories of data collected, the purposes for which it was collected, and the categories of third parties with whom it was shared.

3. Your Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete personal data we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and verify your request, we will delete your personal data from our records and direct our service providers to do the same.

We may retain data when necessary to:

  • Complete a transaction or deliver a service you requested.
  • Detect and protect against security incidents or malicious activity.
  • Debug and repair errors in our platform.
  • Comply with a legal obligation.
  • Engage in peer-reviewed research in the public interest.
  • Exercise free speech or other rights provided by law.

4. Your Right to Opt Out

Even though Thizo does not sell personal data, you have the right to formally opt out of any future sale of your personal information. To submit an opt-out request, contact us at privacy@thizo.co with the subject line "Do Not Sell Request." We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days.

5. Your Right to Non-Discrimination

Exercising your CCPA rights will never affect the quality or availability of our services to you. Unless permitted by law, Thizo will not:

  • Deny you access to our platform or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of service.
  • Suggest that you will receive a penalty for exercising your rights.

6. How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of your CCPA rights — including the right to know, right to delete, or right to opt out — contact us at privacy@thizo.co with the subject line "CCPA Rights Request." Please include your name, firm name, and the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

We will respond to all verifiable requests within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you in writing. You may submit a request for disclosure or deletion up to twice within any 12-month period.

7. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf. We will require written proof of authorization and may contact you directly to verify the request before fulfilling it.
